11 Days - September 2017

Tour Itinerary

Day 1        10th September 2017

Arrive in Entebbe and be met at airport by our on-ground tour operator and transferred to our guesthouse accommodation in Entebbe (with ensuite facilities). It is here you will meet your host Bobby-Jo Clow and begin your exciting photographic safari adventure.


Dinner and breakfast the following morning are included.


Day 2        11th September 2017

Today the group will leave Entebbe and head towards Kibale National Park where we will be staying in our safari tented accommodation for 2 nights (with ensuite facilities). This afternoon upon arrival at the camp you will participate in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Walk home to 8 primate species.

Day 3       12th September 2017

Today you will explore the Kibale forest in the search for its most famous primate – the Chimpanzee for a sensational full day Chimp Habituation Experience. Kibale Forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa.  Your Chimpanzee Habituation Experience starts as early as 5.30am. You will follow them during their daily activities and spend the entire day with the chimps which will enable you to learn about their lifestyle and present numerous opportunities for some great photos. Bobby-Jo will be on hand to provide photographic tips on how to capture amazing images of the chimps in the low light of the forest.

Day 4         13th September 2017

Today the group will leave Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP).

After checking in and having lunch at our Bush Lodge (with ensuite facilities) in which we will be staying for 2 nights we will head out on an afternoon game drive to search for local wildlife including the endemic Ugandan Kob antelope.

Day 5         14th September 2017

After breakfast the group will head out on an early morning game drive in QENP. In the afternoon a boat cruise is planned to explore the Kazinga Channel which is home to a large population of hippo. Between activities photographic lessons will help tour participants fine tune their photography for all the different wildlife encounters that Uganda offers.

Day 6         15th September 2017

Today we continue our journey towards the gorillas and end up in Lake Mutanda we where we will set up base for 3 nights in our deluxe safari tent accommodation (with ensuite facilities).

Day 7         16th September 2017

Today the wait is over with our journey into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see the endangered Mountain Gorilla. The time spent with these primates promises to be a truly memorable experience with the photography tips you have learnt so far allowing some fantastic images to be captured.

Day 8         17th September 2017

Today our search for primates continues with a trip to see endangered Golden Monkeys in the Mgahinga National Park.

As well as photographic tutorial lessons you will learn how to edit your photos professionally to ensure they stand out from the crowd!

Day 9           18th August 2017

After breakfast the group will leave Lake Mutanda for Lake Mburo home to the only population of Zebra in all of Uganda. Numerous other wildlife species can also be seen here including carnivore species such as Leopard. We will spend the afternoon on a game walk in the park and our night will be spent in our intimate bush camp (with ensuite facilities).

Day 10        19th September 2017

Today we start our journey back towards Entebbe passing over the Equator including stops along the way for photo opportunities and shopping for souvenirs. Upon reaching Entebbe in the afternoon we will check into our guesthouse accommodation to relax and review all the fantastic images taken throughout the trip.

Dinner is not included in your tour package tonight but we will venture out towards Lake Victoria for a farewell feast.

Day 11        20th September 2017

After an early breakfast we head out on a canoe journey into the Mabamba Swamp in search of the rare and elusive Shoebill Stork. Returning from the swamp in time for lunch we will then be transferred to Entebbe airport to either depart Uganda towards home or your onward destination.
